Bring Nature Home

Is she really selling tree branches?

Moon between Branches

A child who passes by one of my works stops immediately. Kids feel attracted, delighted and want to touch, experience, take home. They instinctively understand my message.

Adults hesitate, find it strange and some are even confused.

Is she really selling tree branches? That rock over there, I passed through a similar one on my way here, why would I buy one?

The answer is yes, you are the one that should buy one.

Yes, you who noticed on the stone on the way, heard the bird singing in the middle of the city noise or collected seashells on vacation. You are the one that will fully experience the joy of having this artwork exposed on the wall of your house.

Let's go back to childhood

Since we are children, that on our walks, in the street, in the countryside, or on the beach, we bring the branches of wild flowers, the imperfect stones, the broken shells, home. Several times our parents try to demove us to do that, but we keep it on our pockets, our precious treasure.

In fact, if something is common to all of us when we were children, it that we spent hours watching and looking for those shells among the sand and salt water or the small rocks onour path.

The fact that they are imperfect and temporary does not deter us. We even find them more beautiful, we understand what they went through, we accept their story.

Months, or even years later, we find those natural elements that we have so carefully collected...

On a dusty shelf or in a dark drawer.

And that's where I come in with this beautiful and unusual, strange but familiar Art. Children already know what this little painting with the shell represents: the memory of a comforting and joyful holiday; and that one there, with the branch: the memory of a walk in the woods with someone we loved and who took care of us.

Happy memories, present in natural elements that are often common, imperfect, but undoubtedly precious. Us.

A branch, a stone... a connection.

Bring Nature Home.
