Having a ready soup allows you to maintain your daily intake of vegetables and have a light meal in minutes
I don’t know how people around me were eating peas so easily, but I just couldn’t.
I was always picking them out one by one, leaving them in the corner of the dish. They were too sweet to be called a vegetable, and they had a weird texture with a powdery taste. I wasn't going to eat peas. I mean, at all. Never. Until...
...one day, I bought a bag of peas by mistake. They were mixed with the broccoli, and I ended up with a 500g bag at home. Of course, the first thing I did was hide it in the darkest corner of my freezer. After some time, I decided to behave like an adult and find something to do with them. I mean, something edible.
My old friend, Google, helped me find a recipe by Gordon Ramsey. I would never dare cook something from a chef, but I had nothing to lose this time, just some old peas...
My dear friends, I just discovered my favorite soup.
Did I say I didn't like peas? No, no, no. I love Pea Soup! Gordon's pea soup.
Often when I have to work intensively on a project, I don't want to stop for lunch for a long time because I end up losing concentration and rhythm. Having soup ready to go allows me to maintain my daily intake of vegetables and have a meal ready in minutes.
Something that artists, and everyone, should be careful about: Eating healthy is just another way to take care of ourselves.
