FLORIST'S GARDENS | Brussels Gardens

A garden of rare plants

Integrated into the royal parks and gardens of Laeken and owned by the Royal Donation, the Florist's Gardens have been created by Brussels Environment since 2005 to make it a place for experimentation and exhibition of rare plants. In the Florist's Gardens, all the plants are remarkable!

For example, the hollies that close the gardens to the west are more than a century old. The gardens also house a very fine collection of camellias thanks to the donation of the International Camellia Society.

Other flora examples:

"anémone des bois,  reine-des-prés,  carotte,  centaurée jacée,  érable champêtre, érable sycomore, eupatoire chanvrine, hêtre, menthe aquatique, noisetier commun, grande marguerite, pâquerette and  salicaire commune."
